Not a day goes by that I don’t realize how lucky I am in life. Just got back from a week in Seoul for a project that I was working on. There was tons to eat, shop and see. Each time I got back (this was probably my 10th time in 2 years), there’s something new to see and someone new to meet. One of my favorite reasons that I enjoy Seoul is that the service industry there is second to none in Asia. From indie boutiques like Anthology (in Garosugil) to W Hotel at Walker Hill (where we stayed), the service is always polite and helpful. Believe me, it goes a loooooong way if you’ve ever posted up in mainland China. Weather was impeccable and the people that accompanied me on this trip are some of the most creative, fun, gracious and down-to-earth people I’ve ever had the pleasure of being around. As usual, D and I always try to taste the local McDonald’s menu wherever we go. The Myeongdong McDonald’s had a Korean Beef Bulgogi burger which was OK but the special packaging for the french fries saved the day. Until next time…
